I currently work for Curza, a biotech company focused on developing small molecule theraputics.  Curza has several drug assets in its portfolio including two antibiotic drugs and one oncology drug.  I also work for Clarke Capital Partners, a growth-equity fund (Curza is one of our portfolio companies) and I own a small solar development company that focuses on small commercial solar development in Utah.  I am an entrepreneur and as such have been invovled in many different ventures.  In 1998, I started my first company with a few friends that grew into a large e-commerce software and inventory management company.  We successfully sold this company in 2001 to a global hardware manufacturer.  I then started my second company that developed an online commerce platform to track, bank and transact environmental commodities.  We successfully merged with an international commodity brokerage firm.  I ran an renewable energy company, an online healthcare diagnostics company and a market research company.  I served a four-year term on the Draper City Council, serve on numerous boards and continue to be active in my church and community.  I graduated from Ricks College with a degree in Business Management and from Brigham Young University with a degree in Political Science.
